Sucking Soup

I guess the high side of this little adventure of mine will be selling my gold, I sold $12.63 in pennies today to Bank of America for $23.41, I’m wondering how long I can keep this action going! So here’s the deal, three rolls of pennies, face value, $1.50, 34 are pre1982, 95% copper, worth 80cents, 116, the balance, mostly made of zinc, have a value of 60 cents, I don’t know, I guess I paid $1.50 for what was only worth $1.40, damn I’m so confused! Anything to keep my mind off my impending doom, oh did I mention soon, I’ll be sucking soup, I’ve nursed along these two back teeth at least a quarter century now, an investment, the time has come for me to cash this in, tonite I’m eating steak! I’m thinking I’ll just buy a couple boxes of pennies from the bank, sit around a couple days healing, sorting through, squirreling away old copper pennies, hoping copper futures keep going up through the roof. So let me tell ya about my cat, she always wants to play lately whenever she sees me writing on this blackberry, she ain’t normal, she likes to fetch, it is so hard for me holding a train of thought with all her action going on, I hold out hope that she will soon tire out! All right, back to the nickels and those pennies again, fuck all those worthless quarters and dimes, fungible assets, that’s what I’m talking about, this ain’t about getting rich, more about just getting by through the hard times. Its all about trust, just like the Gold Guys say, but I don’t think I’ll be trying to sell my gold crowns to them although I’ll want to satisfy my curiosity, I’ll check their brick and mortar out! Silver, Copper, Nickel, and Gold, what the real money is made of, here’s what’s up with copper, I went looking around, wanted to see about buying some 1oz pure copper rounds, bullion coins, 100 coins cost $125, better than a buck an ounce, $1.54 in pre1982 pennies, amounts to a pound + of copper, so correct me if I’m wrong, $154.00 in pre1982 pennies would be better than 100 pounds copper, by now I’m guessing you’ve figured me out, I won’t be buying no 1oz copper rounds! I’ve talked about this stuff before, a dime is worth about 2 cent, a quarter, about 6, if you paid in presidential dollars, the $35,000 ticket price of an Obama fund raising event, the value of those coins would be a whopping $2,263.51, whoa! So has anybody here been paying much attention to orange juice futures these last couple weeks, the ramp up, the take down, look at it today, here we go, sorta looks like someone’s in there trading places all over again!
