The Great SOCIO continues their Friday Night Residency at The Grape Room
With two down and three more to go, the Philadelphia alt-groove rock band The Great SOCIO continues their tradition of high-energy live performances at The Grape Room in Manayunk. And as per tradition, an out-of-hand house party will follow.
Alberto, frontman of TGS boasts: “People love it because its edgy, aggressive and honest. We’ve built a community around music and our shows because that’s what music should be.”
Together for just over a year, The Great Socio has built a strong following throughout Philadelphia and it’s surrounding communities. In May 2010, the band released their debut EP, Free Tongues, which has since sold over 500 copies regionally. And in addition to small tours, The Great Socio has secured key performance slots at the Dewey Beach Music Conference and the Millennium Music Conference.
