The 17th Annual Gathering of the Vibes Festival is gearing up for the 2012 artist announcement set for April 2, 2012. The news will hit the wire shortly thereafter. We are setting up interviews next week on a first some first serve basis for Vibes founder, Ken Hays prior to the announcement so you can have a few quotes and be ready to go nearly at the same time it hits the wire . Naturally, we will also facilitate artist interviews, once the news is released.
Gathering of the Vibes continues to spread its wings into new musical genres, promising the most eclectic line up to date this July 19-22, 2012.
Gathering of the Vibes will celebrate its 17th year and the eighth return to Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT. This 370-acre waterfront venue is the perfect setting for an outdoor music festival. With its wide-open spaces, shady trees and over a mile and a half of beachfront, Seaside Park is like no other.
Just an hour north of NYC, music enthusiasts can travel to Seaside Park by car, Metro North, Amtrak or hop on the Port Jefferson – Bridgeport Ferry from Long Island. Free shuttle bus service is provided to and from Seaside Park all weekend from the above locations.
