By admin

Time: Sunday, March 6 · 2:00pm – 11:00pm

Location:
The Note
142 E. Market St
West Chester, PA 19380

A huge benefit concert, Silent auction of music memorabilia, custom and autographed guitars, art by local artists, books by local authors, gift certificates and more.

Admission is just $25 at the door. No advanced sales, sorry!

All proceeds go to the “Have A Heart Musicians’ Fund”, which benefits hard working, self-employed musicians, entertainers, and entertainment workers like Jim Littmann. Jim was lead guitarist, mandolin, dobro player and vocalist for “Annie Crow Road”, “Get Right”, “The Do Daddies”, “The Rob Dickenson Band” and “Good Foot”. Jim was one of the elves at the Beru Christmas Benefits.

He has been hospitalized since December of 2010, and underwent heart surgery on 15 January, 2011. Like most musicians who bust their asses at night to entertain us, Jim has no health insurance, and is now facing a half-million dollars in medical bills with no way to pay them.

Doors Open at 2 PM. First band goes on at 3 PM. Silent auction also begins at 2.

Here is the line up for the show:
Rob Perna and the New Kings of Rhythm
Tom McIntyre
The Walking Sticks
The Billy Penn Project
Billy Freeze and Steve Smith
Chip Roberts
EB Hawkins featuring Jordyn, Billy Burger, Geri Smith and Lucky Brown
John Lilley Project
Good Foot
Beru Revue

The event will be Emceed by Jim’s longtime friend and collaborator, Rob Dickenson, along with WMMR’s Pierre Robert, and WMGK’s Debi Calton.

There will be a merchandise table with CDs and Tee Shirts from the artists performing at the show. 50/50 raffles all through the event.

$1 from every domestic draught purchase (Miller High Life and Pottsville’s own Yuengling Lager) will also go to the fund, courtesy of the Note.

Come one, come all! See 8 hours of the best music our area has produced over the last 30 years.

Tickets are only being sold at the door for $25 apiece. Come early and stay late. The Note is a big room (385 capacity), but we expect an overflow with this kind of talent.
