Board Meeting Schedule

October 20, 2010, Alexandria, Va. — The National Credit Union Administration today released the monthly Board meeting schedule for 2011. The NCUA Board generally meets during the third or fourth week of each month, except August, when no meeting is scheduled.
Specific dates for 2010 NCUA Board meetings follow:
 January 13
 February 17
 March 17
 April 21
 May 19
 June 16
 July 21
 September 15
 October 27
 November 17
 December 15
The 2011 Board meeting schedule is subject to change. An accurate schedule is available online at http://www.ncua.gov/GenInfo/BoardandAction/Calendars/Meetings/2011.aspx#top. NCUA is the independent federal agency that regulates, charters and supervises federal credit unions. With the backing of the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, NCUA operates and manages the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, insuring the deposits of over 90 million account holders in all federal credit unions and the overwhelming majority of state-chartered credit unions.
